GenZJob vs Mistplay: Which Pays Better and Which Is Right for You?
Mistplay pays you “units” for time spent playing games, which you redeem for gift cards or PayPal. GenZJob pays real Cash for completed partner offers (withdrawn to PayPal) and adds a free daily draw for $10,000 plus 17 play-only Bonus Cash games. Mistplay is the better fit if you mostly want to be rewarded for time in mobile games on Android. GenZJob fits if you want offers plus a daily prize shot and games on the web or iPhone. Reviews estimate Mistplay at roughly $0.50–$2 per hour at best, and neither app guarantees income.

What is GenZJob?
GenZJob is a rewards app (not an employer or recruiter, despite the name) where you play, earn and win. It has three parts:
- Offerwalls and quests: try apps, games and surveys from partners and earn Cash (real money you can withdraw to PayPal) plus Bonus Cash.
- A free daily draw: pick a number every day. The lowest number nobody else picked wins $10,000 real cash. Your first entry each day is free. See how the lowest unique number game works.
- 17 games and giveaways: the games are played with Bonus Cash, a play-only currency with no cash value that cannot be withdrawn. You can also use it on giveaway tickets and prediction markets.
It works on the web and as an iPhone app, with a Google Play listing coming. You must be at least 14 to use GenZJob, and games, giveaways and cash-outs are for ages 18 and up. No earnings are guaranteed.
What is Mistplay?
Mistplay is a “play to earn rewards” app. It recommends mobile games, tracks how long you actually play them, and rewards you with units. You then redeem units in its in-app shop, mainly for gift cards and, according to reviews, PayPal. Reviewers note that simply leaving a game running in the background does not count: you need to be actively playing.
It has been most closely associated with Android. Its App Store listing describes an iPhone version, with points that are not transferable to other platforms, so check which version and region you can use before you invest time.
The key difference: paid for time vs paid for outcomes
This is the part most comparison posts skip. Mistplay mostly rewards time spent in a game, so you earn steadily but slowly. GenZJob’s real Cash comes from completed offers, which can be worth more per offer, but pay nothing until you reach the milestone, and from prizes, which are a chance, not a wage.
- Predictable but small (Mistplay): if you enjoy the games anyway, you earn a little while you play. Reviews put realistic totals around $10–$40 a month for regular players.
- Lumpy and variable (offerwalls on GenZJob): a game-milestone offer can pay several dollars, but only if you complete it, and some offers take days or longer to confirm.
- A free lottery-style extra (GenZJob daily draw): one free entry a day gives you a chance at $10,000. It is not income you should plan around.
Payouts and redemption
GenZJob: Cash is withdrawn to PayPal. The Payout page shows the minimum, any fee and the exact amount you receive before you confirm. Each request is reviewed first, a short holdback can apply before release, and identity verification may be required (see our Terms).
Mistplay: you redeem units in its shop. Reviews describe gift cards arriving quickly and PayPal taking around two days, with different unit prices for different rewards. Because the unit-to-dollar rates in reviews differ, check the shop before you decide whether the effort is worth it.
Which one should you choose?
- Choose Mistplay if you are on Android, like trying new mobile games, and want gift cards for the time you spend playing.
- Choose GenZJob if you are on iPhone or want to use the web, want PayPal cash-outs, and like a free daily prize shot and casual games on top of offers.
- Use both if you are comfortable with it. They reward different things, so they do not compete for the same minutes.
About the games: what each one means
On Mistplay, “games” means third-party mobile games you install and play. On GenZJob, the 17 built-in games (including Coin Flip, Limbo, Mines, Plinko, Blackjack and Roulette) run on Bonus Cash, which cannot be withdrawn. They are for fun and leaderboards, not for turning gameplay into cash. We say this on every game page and in the Games Terms and Games Odds.
What a realistic week looks like
Using the review estimates, here is what a casual week might look like. These are illustrations, not promises:
| GenZJob | Mistplay | |
|---|---|---|
| What you would do | A few short offers, your free daily draw entry, a daily chest and quests | Play recommended games actively for about 5 hours |
| Likely result at best | A few dollars if offers complete; the draw is a small chance at $10,000 | About $2.50–$10 at the cited $0.50–$2 per hour |
| Biggest risk | Offers that do not track or stay pending | Spending hours for few units |
Either way, the honest takeaway is that these apps pay small amounts. Pick the one whose way of earning you would actually enjoy.
