What is GenZJob?
GenZJob is a rewards app (not an employer or recruiter, despite the name) where you play, earn and win. It has three parts:
- Offerwalls and quests: try apps, games and surveys from partners and earn Cash (real money you can withdraw to PayPal) plus Bonus Cash.
- A free daily draw: pick a number every day. The lowest number nobody else picked wins $10,000 real cash. Your first entry each day is free. See how the lowest unique number game works.
- 17 games and giveaways: the games are played with Bonus Cash, a play-only currency with no cash value that cannot be withdrawn. You can also use it on giveaway tickets and prediction markets.
It works on the web and as an iPhone app, with a Google Play listing coming. You must be at least 14 to use GenZJob, and games, giveaways and cash-outs are for ages 18 and up. No earnings are guaranteed.
What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is one of the best-known “get paid for everyday activities” sites. You earn SB points for answering surveys, shopping through its cash-back links, watching videos, playing games and completing offers, then redeem points for gift cards or PayPal. Because it covers many activities, it suits people who like to collect small amounts from lots of places.
The most common complaint in reviews is survey screen-outs: you start a survey, find out you do not match the target group, and receive only a few consolation points for your time. That is normal for survey platforms, but it makes the hourly rate lower than the headline rewards suggest.
How the earning models differ
- Swagbucks = many small streams. Survey pay, shopping cash-back, video points and game offers add up slowly. It rewards consistency and patience.
- GenZJob = offers plus a shot at a prize. Offerwall offers pay Cash, and the free daily draw gives a chance at $10,000. There are also quests, a daily chest, scratch tickets and leaderboards for small extras.
Neither is a substitute for a job. Independent guides put these apps at about $1–$3 per hour at best.
Payouts and minimums
Swagbucks: the 100 SB = $1 rate is consistent across reviews. Minimums differ by reward type and source: some reviews cite as little as 300 SB (about $3) for certain gift cards or PayPal, others cite higher thresholds. A first redemption can take longer because of account checks. Always confirm on your redeem page.
GenZJob: Cash is withdrawn to PayPal. The Payout page shows the minimum, any fee and the amount you receive before you confirm, requests are reviewed, a short holdback can apply and we may ask for identity verification. See our Terms.
Which should you choose?
- Choose Swagbucks if you like surveys and cash-back shopping and prefer collecting points from many activities.
- Choose GenZJob if you want offerwall offers plus a free daily prize shot, casual games and a simple PayPal cash-out.
- Use both if you want variety. They reward different activities, so they do not compete for the same minutes.
Survey screen-outs: the hidden cost of survey apps
Surveys are advertised with a reward, but you only get it if you qualify. Platforms start with a few questions to check whether you match the target group, and if you do not, you are screened out, often with only a few SB (reviews cite 1–5 SB) for your time. If you screen out of several surveys in a row, your effective hourly rate falls well below the headline.
- Complete your profile questions honestly. Better matching means fewer screen-outs.
- Do not rush. Inconsistent answers can disqualify you or get a reward reversed.
- Set a time limit. If three surveys in a row screen you out, switch to another activity.
