GenZJob Bonus Cash vs Cash: What Each One Is, How to Earn It and What It Does
GenZJob has two separate balances: Cash, which is real money from completed partner offers and prizes and can be withdrawn to PayPal, and Bonus Cash, a play-only currency with no cash value that cannot be withdrawn. Bonus Cash is for the daily draw extras, the 17 games, giveaway tickets and prediction markets. Spending it never turns it into Cash, and support cannot convert it either. After you cash out, your level, XP, streak and Bonus Cash stay. We keep them separate so it is always clear what is money and what is for play. Cash-outs and games are for ages 18 and up, and no earnings are guaranteed.
The difference in one table
| Cash | Bonus Cash | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Real money you earn | A play-only virtual currency |
| Where it comes from | Completed partner offers, promotions and prizes | Offers (alongside Cash), the daily chest, scratch tickets, quests, invites and optional purchases |
| Can you withdraw it? | Yes, to PayPal once you reach the minimum | No. It has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money |
| What can you do with it? | Cash out | Play 17 games, buy giveaway tickets, make prediction picks and add daily-draw entries |
| Does it reset when you cash out? | Your Cash goes down by the amount withdrawn | No. Bonus Cash, level, XP and streak stay |
| Can you buy it? | No | Yes, optionally; purchases are non-refundable except as required by law |
The key sentence from the app is simple: only Cash is withdrawable; Bonus Cash never is.
Cash: your withdrawable balance
Cash is the part of GenZJob that is real money. It comes from partner offers (installing and playing games, finishing surveys and similar tasks), from promotions and from prizes. It sits in a balance marked “Withdrawable”, and once it reaches the minimum, you can cash it out to PayPal.
- It is shown in dollars, not points, so there is no conversion to work out.
- It is subject to review, possible identity verification and a short holdback before payment.
- It is for ages 18 and up to withdraw.
- It does not expire into points or lose value by spending Bonus Cash.
Full details of the process are in how to cash out.
Bonus Cash: your play balance
Bonus Cash is what you use to play. It powers the 17 built-in games, extra daily-draw entries, giveaway tickets and prediction picks. It has no cash value: you cannot withdraw it, and you cannot redeem it for money by spending it or by asking support.
You can earn Bonus Cash through the app, for example from offers, the daily chest, scratch tickets, quests and invites, and you can optionally buy more. Buying Bonus Cash is for entertainment, never an investment: it will not turn into Cash, and purchases are non-refundable except as required by law.
How each balance grows
| Source | Cash | Bonus Cash | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Partner offers | Yes | Often a share too | Rewards vary by offer; the offer page shows what you get |
| Daily chest | No | Yes | Opens once a day; streak counts |
| Scratch tickets | Sometimes small cash prizes | Yes | Prizes can be Bonus Cash, draw entries or up to $1 cash |
| Quests and raids | Raids can reward real Cash | Quests reward Bonus Cash | Rules shown per quest |
| Prizes (draw, giveaways) | Yes, for cash prizes | Possibly | Rules in the draw and giveaway terms |
| Invites | Real cash after your friend completes offers | Yes | See the invite screen |
| Purchases | No | Yes | Optional; non-refundable except as required by law |
Offers and prizes fill the Cash side. Everything else, mostly, fills the Bonus Cash side, which is why you can play without your Cash balance moving.
What boosts what
The app has streaks and an hourly “reward multiplier” that adds a bonus when you complete several offers in an hour. These boost Bonus Cash and XP, not withdrawable Cash: the multiplier panel says so explicitly. That matters because it explains why your Bonus Cash can grow faster than your Cash when you are active, and why that growth does not change what you can withdraw.
What stays after you cash out
- Cash: reduced by the amount you withdrew.
- Bonus Cash: stays.
- Level and XP: stay.
- Streak: stays.
- History: your payout shows in your payout history with its date, fee and status.
Nothing resets, so cashing out is not a penalty. You can keep playing with the Bonus Cash you have.
Common mix-ups
- “I won a lot of Bonus Cash in a game, can I withdraw it?” No. Winnings in games stay Bonus Cash.
- “I bought Bonus Cash, can I get a refund or cash it out?” Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law, and Bonus Cash cannot be withdrawn.
- “Why did my streak give Bonus Cash but not Cash?” Streak and multiplier bonuses boost Bonus Cash and XP, not Cash.
- “Is Bonus Cash a currency I can sell?” No. It has no cash value and is not transferable for money.
- “Does it count toward the payout minimum?” No. Only Cash counts.
Why this matters when you compare apps
Many rewards apps use points or coins that blur “money” and “play” together. We chose two clearly named balances so you can read our rules once and know them. If you want to compare how other apps handle this, see GenZJob vs Freecash, GenZJob vs Swagbucks and Is GenZJob legit?.
Worked examples
Example 1: an active week. You complete several offers. Your Cash grows by the offer rewards and your Bonus Cash grows by its share, boosted a little by your streak and the hourly multiplier. You open the daily chest and get some Bonus Cash. At the end, your Cash is what you can withdraw; your Bonus Cash is what you can play with.
Example 2: a games night. You spend 500 Bonus Cash playing games and win 700. Your Bonus Cash is now higher, but your Cash has not changed, and you still cannot withdraw anything you won in the games. Your withdrawable money only changes when you earn Cash from offers or prizes.
Example 3: you cash out. Your Cash drops by the amount withdrawn and arrives in PayPal. Your Bonus Cash, level, XP and streak stay exactly as they were, so you can continue playing with the Bonus Cash you have.
Example 4: you buy Bonus Cash. Your Bonus Cash goes up; your Cash does not change. Because Bonus Cash has no cash value, buying more never increases what you can withdraw, and the purchase is non-refundable except as required by law.
Why Bonus Cash exists at all
A fair question is why the app has a play currency. The answer is that games, draws and giveaways need a currency, and mixing that with withdrawable money would make the rules less clear and could mislead people about what a game is. By using Bonus Cash for play, the games stay entertainment: you can enjoy them without risking real money, and you always know that winning in a game never creates a payout.
It also protects you. Because Bonus Cash is not money, a game cannot cost you your Cash. The only money-related decision you ever make about Bonus Cash is whether to buy more, and that is optional, non-refundable and for entertainment only. Our games guide and Games Odds page explain the numbers.
A five-point check so you never mix them up
- Look at the label: Cash (Withdrawable) versus Bonus Cash (for playing games and giveaways).
- Before you cash out, confirm the amount comes from Cash.
- Before you spend Bonus Cash, remember it cannot be turned into money.
- Remember streak and multiplier bonuses affect Bonus Cash and XP, not Cash.
- If you buy Bonus Cash, treat it as entertainment spending.
More questions, answered in depth
Can I convert Bonus Cash to Cash if I ask support? No. Bonus Cash cannot be redeemed for money, and support cannot convert it either. This is a rule of the product, not a limit of what support can do for you.
Why do some rewards give both Cash and Bonus Cash? Offers can pay both because the partner’s payment funds a real-money reward and we add play currency alongside it. The offer page shows what you will get before you start.
Does Bonus Cash expire? Check the app and our Terms for the current rule. Either way, expiry would not affect your Cash.
Can I give Bonus Cash to a friend? Bonus Cash is for your own play. The invite programme, described in the app, gives you and a friend rewards when they sign up.
Which balance should I care about most? If your goal is to cash out, Cash. If your goal is to enjoy the games, giveaways and draw extras, Bonus Cash. Most people use both.
Summary and next steps
If you remember one thing from this guide, make it this: Cash is money and Bonus Cash is for play. Everything else in the app follows from that split, from how rewards are labelled to what the Payout page lets you withdraw.
Understanding it early makes the rest of GenZJob easier, because you can judge any reward by asking which balance it adds to and whether that balance does what you want.
- Cash: withdrawable to PayPal, 18+, after review and possible verification.
- Bonus Cash: play-only, never withdrawable, optional to buy.
- Streaks and multipliers: boost Bonus Cash and XP only.
- After cash-out: Bonus Cash, level, XP and streak stay.
A quick mental model
Picture two jars. One jar holds Cash: real dollars you can take out whenever you meet the minimum. The other jar holds Bonus Cash: tokens that only work inside GenZJob for games, draw extras, giveaway tickets and predictions. You can put tokens in the second jar by earning or buying, and you can spend them, but you can never pour them into the first jar.
When an offer pays both, a bit goes into each jar. When the chest or a quest pays, it goes into the token jar. When you cash out, you empty some of the Cash jar and your tokens stay exactly where they were. Seen this way, nearly every question about the two balances answers itself.
